The P&C runs the school canteen with the help of the canteen coordinator and volunteer parents. Alexander school is committed to healthy eating and our canteen operates under the "Fresh Tastes" strategy, which is a part of the NSW Department of Health - Healthy Canteens policy.
How To Place A Lunch Order? Write your child’s name, class and order on a paper bag and include correct money where possible. Change will be returned in order bag and the canteen cannot be held responsible for lost money.
Other Procedures Morning Tea is purchased over the counter directly and not included in lunch order bags. No credit (unless in cases of emergency) is allowed at the canteen. To help canteen volunteers, please ensure your child is aware of the amount of money they have been given and know what they may purchase over the counter.
